Explore Berry RumA sweet, tangy glaze built on Berry Rum and fresh berries. Exceptional on grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, or salmon. The kind of sauce that makes people ask for the recipe.
Combine berries, rum, honey, balsamic, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Cook for 15–18 minutes until berries have broken down and sauce has thickened.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you want a smooth glaze, or leave chunky for more texture.
Season with salt and pepper.
Brush on meat during the last 5 minutes of grilling. Apply in two coats for a lacquered finish.
Bartender's Tip
The glaze burns easily because of the sugar content. Apply only in the last few minutes of cooking and watch it closely.
